Go Fast, Turn Left

We spent a fun Sunday with Teresa & Charlie at the Kansas Speedway watching the STP 400!

Visiting the pit area before the race.

We had great seats directly behind the flag stand,

the NASCAR equivalent of the 50-yard line or home plate!

 To kick off the race; a flyover by three A-10s. 

I always get goosebumps when the jets fly over at these types of events!

 A lineup of semi trailers and race cars ready to go!

 While we were walking around before the race I was surprised to find graffiti written on the white line on the track.  Apparently this person is not a fan of the Busch brothers or Busch beer!

 This pit crew member was gluing the lug nuts into place on the wheel. 

He told Teresa that 'nobody touches the lug nuts but him.'
