Productive day at the Duck today! Bobby, with an assist from Sara and I, built this cool cedar split rail fence corner to showcase the antique plow that his buddy Pat Curnyn found for him. The bush in the corner is a burning bush; so come Fall it will add a fiery splash of red in this little corner of our driveway! In addition to this bit of landscaping, we also planted five lilac bushes along the back side of the house and shed! Plus we got a couple more of the pots planted with geraniums, impatiens, and some spiky decorative grass!
The grass is starting to grow between the stepping stones; it's kind of wispy for now but getting stronger every day!
Sara learned to drive the new John Deere tractor and took it for a spin around the back 40! Bobby called her Farmer Jane!
