Neighborhood Bully

The hummingbird traffic has greatly increased the last few days! There is only one problem....a neighborhood bully; one of the hummingbirds does not like to share. Every time other hummers approach the feeder he begins dive bombing them until they fly away. Once he has been successful in eliminating the threat, he returns to his perch on the metal ladybug to keep a watchful eye out for any other hummers who may approach his feeder!

Look what Cooper found today!

Evan had seen this little baby's mama a few weeks ago slithering across the road at the top of our driveway, I was kind of hoping he was just seeing a mirage or something!

But today, Bobby, Josh, & Susan brought this little guy inside in a bucket while they looked on the internet to confirm that yes....THIS IS A RATTLESNAKE!

YIKES!!!!!!!

Baby Love

Welcome to the world sweet baby boy Elijah Charles! Born to Matt, Kelli, and big brother Lucas on June 28, three short weeks after the wedding where his Mama was a very pregnant and beautiful bridesmaid!

A couple of weeks ago while Josh was home we traveled to Springfield, MO to meet baby Eli. There were ten of us that descended upon his home and the only time he was not in someones arms was when he was getting a clean diaper! Jenny, not to say you were a baby hog or anything....but.....the only pictures I got he was in your arms!

Gage, he's got Charles as a middle name too! And he's headed to high school next year!

Play Date

Cooper had a play date today with Dexter; the golden retriever puppy that Susan and her brother Chris gave their Dad for Father's Day! It was hot but they had a fun day!
